Test Results!

My results came back benign! Now for the fun part...they've put me on the ONLY FDA approved medicine for the next 3 months to see if my symptoms improve; if they do not improve then we'll try another treatment (that's more than likely experimental). My doctor did not want to label me with the diagnosis of interstitial cystitis (aka IC) because it is commonly used as a "catch-all diagnosis" for pelvic pain with an unknown cause. But he saw signs that support the IC diagnosis and wanted to see if this treatment plan would work. I also will be challenged with a new pseudo-diet (they gave me a list of approved and non-approved food and of course all of my favs are not approved).
